HEY!!! What's the Big Idea Here???!?
SHOVE-IT! is a Biosafety checklist to remind our Public Health officials (and us) how to prevent disease.
Illnesses like COVID-19 are more than just a crisis of poor personal health and hygiene. There are many federal Biosafety laws about air, water, food, cleaning, HVAC, and the public realm that reduce our health hazards and prevent sickness. When our government officials ignore these laws, they prolong epidemics. This endangers all of us.
SHOVE-IT! outlines ways for Public Health Officials to set a GOOD EXAMPLE and to better EDUCATE us.
Professional Architectural, Engineering, and Biosafety Program Designers advocate equitably for YOU. We approach building shutdowns, aerosol sprays, nose+mouth covers, and mandatory pharmaceuticals with a lot of caution. We weren't born yesterday, and we think about tomorrow. We understand consequences BEFORE they arrive. We know Planning. Programs like SHOVE-IT! help our officials to follow their own laws, do their jobs, and not hurt us.
